It has been so long since I posted last, so a lot of things are new with our family! I promise I will get some new pictures on here soon...
Emily is almost 2 1/2 now and is just as sweet as can be (most days)... She takes good care of her brother, Tyson (now 7 months-old). She is great at helping mommy cook dinner or entertaining her brother while I do something around the house. She makes sure both he and I are doing ok by always asking us, "Are you ok"? If for some reason we're not, she'll say, "It's ok, mommy", kiss my owie or tell Tyson, "It's ok, Tyson, mommy's coming". It really is sweet to watch them interact together!
I know when I posted last we had just bought a new house... Well, we SOLD IT! We are in between houses, living in a new apartment complex on the west end of Billings. They're kind of neat because each building is a different color... Some are red, some are yellow and even blue. We'll keep you posted on when the next house hunting adventure begins!
Other than that, nothing much new besides getting ready for summer (if it ever gets here)... Scott has started playing on a softball team with his company and I'm looking to join some mommy groups. We're going to get Emily into swimming lessons and gymnastics over the summer as well. Should be FUN either way!

Life's Little "Funnies"
- Using baby wash and kids shampoo because you were too tired to go to the grocery store to get some of your own...
- Driving down the road and seeing cows out the window while Emily yells, "Cows!" and dad yells, "Dinner!"
- Getting peed, pooped and puked on all in the same 5 minutes, running to throw Tyson in the bathtub and having him pee on you while you were on your way!
- Heating a bottle in the middle of the night only to realize there was no water in it...
- Entertaining simply by turning on oldies music, dancing around the living room with athletic socks pulled up to your knees, sweats rolled up like shorts and wearing a bra on your head like earmuffs...
- Putting diapers on backwards or tearing the diaper completely in the midst of chaos...
- Backpacking through 3 feet of snow when it's -20 below outside, into the middle of nowhere only to pitch a tent by an ice cold river... Sleeping at the bottom of our sleeping bags with longjohns, sweats, coats, gloves and hats just to prove how much we really love the outdoors?!
- Emily wearing her pants backwards all day because mommy forgot to check to make sure they were on the right way...
- Emily realizing olives don't only go in your mouth, they also make great "alien fingers"...
- Getting to work and realizing you have two different colored boots on because you were too tired to notice the difference...

Banana Muffins with a Crunch
PREP TIME: 20 Min
COOK TIME: 25 Min
READY IN: 45 Min
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup melted butter, cooled
2 bananas, mashed
1 banana, chopped
1 cup granola
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup banana chips (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 24 muffin cups with paper liners.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix in the eggs, milk, vanilla and butter. Fold in mashed bananas, chopped banana, granola, walnuts and coconut. Scoop into the prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle with banana chips.
3. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven or until a knife inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean.
